Steven Seagal has fans all over the world, in all classes of society. One of them is King Carl Gustaf XVI Of Sweden. The king has had Steven Seagal as his favourite actor for a long time, and during the last decade they have been reported close friends, after meeting on several occasions, and sharing their views on the environment and movies.

IKEA - Banned Commercial - Swedish Midsummer
You might have heard of the Swedish midsummer tradition, the day when everybody in Sweden gets drunk and dance around a Maypole. Anyway, 2005., IKEA Germany produced commercials where they made fun of the swedes and their Midsummer tradition. The commercials got banned by the head office at IKEA Sweden (IKEA is a Swedish company).

Muslims attacks swedish artist Lars Vilks and clashes with police - Sweden 11 May 2010
Artist Lars Vilks, who caused controversy by drawing cartoons that depicted the prophet Muhammad as a dog, has been attacked while giving a lecture at Uppsala University.
The attack was prompted when Wilks showed a film with gaymen wearing headmasks of prophet Muhammad. People were shouting: "Turn off the Movie" and " Why are you doing this to us, this is pornography" and "You dishonor Muhammad". Police and security guards were present at the lecture and two men were arrested for the assault.
